It is my goal to use this on-line journal to motivate myself to make use of the many interesting materials and supplies I have gathered up and transform them into art and/or useful items. The thing is, I keep taking things in, whether it be art supplies, found materials, or articles that I read. I keep taking stuff in and not putting it to use. Consequently, in an emotional and spiritual way, I feel like I'm going to burst. I want to get the outward flow going: I want to know what's in there, what I'm creatively capable of.
I'm going to start by isolating one project at a time, and see what materials I can incorporate, then acknowledge myself each time I create "something from nothing" as I like to say.
I haven't decided what will be my first project, but that will be the next step, and my next post. So, here I go.
